The ingredients are as followed: Shea Butter, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, camellia oil, calendula oil, turmeric oil, safflower oil, and Roman chamomile oil.
Benefits of each ingredient: High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make shea butter an ideal cosmetic ingredient for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Using shea butter on your body, especially your face, can condition, tone, and soothe your skin. Coconut oil is the most abundant source of lauric acid, a fatty acid known for its antimicrobial, moisturizing, and hormone-balancing properties. The anti-oxidant properties of grapeseed oil may help to prevent skin damage and the premature signs of ageing caused by free radicals. These properties may also maintain and boost the levels of collagen and elastin in your skin which naturally diminish with age. Used regularly, grapeseed oil can smooth out the appearance of your skin, therefore reducing the appearance of fine lines. Camellia oil is packed full of anti-oxidants and omega fatty acids to fight against the signs of aging. It is naturally rich in vitamin A, which people often apply in the form of retinol in over-the-counter products in order to fight wrinkles. Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. It's also used as an antiseptic. Turmeric contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory components. These characteristics may provide glow and luster to the skin. Turmeric may also revive your skin by bringing out its natural glow. While it may seem counterproductive to apply oil to acne, Safflower oil is found to be noncomedogenic, meaning it won't clog your pores. Its anti-inflammatory effects may also be potentially helpful in treating pimples and acne spots. Roman chamomile is applied directly to the skin for pain and swelling (inflammation) and as a germ-killer in ointments, creams, and gels used to treat cracked nipples, sore gums, and irritation of the skin. Using chamomile on the skin brings along powerful antioxidants which help the skin to regenerate, tighten pores and slow down ageing effects in the skin. Skin lightening: Blemishes and redness can be lightened by chamomile which is sometimes referred to as 'natural skin bleach'.
