Blessed and fixed candle by Egbe' Priestess Ifa Ife'. All herbs and oils used are connected to each deity and specific intentions. All candles come with a specific prayer for you to utilize while doing your altar work. Set your intentions and place the candle in a shallow bowl of water (Omi Tutu) and let it burn until it completely burns out. Asé wa is used to get our prayers and petitions up to Olodumare (God) faster.
Eleguá (Elegguá) is sometimes represented as a child, and sometimes as an old man. He represents the beginning and end of life, and the opening and closing of paths in life. Sometimes known as the trickster, he likes to play jokes on people. He enjoys candy and toys. Despite his childlike nature, however, he's a very powerful Orishas. He's one of the Warriors (along with Ogún, Ochosi and Osun). Eleguá is always mentioned first in any ceremony, because without his permission, the doors to communication with the other Orishas stay closed.
